Media Club at Collingwood Park State School consists of a group of students in Years 5 and 6 who are interested in photography and journalism. This club provides an opportunity for students to document the school's happenings, thus allowing for accurate records to be kept of the past.
Students in this group are enthusiastic members who are keen to improve their photographic and writing skills. In 2014 students in the Media Club produced the school's first ever Yearbook. We thank our generous sponsors for their support. Your generous sponsorship assisted in keep the cost of Yearbooks to a minimum.
Intakes for this club are run at the beginning of the school year. Throughout the year we are also looking for parents and school community members who have photographic or journalism experience who would like to share this with members of our Media Club. We would also appreciate any donations of photo paper or other items which may be able to be used by the club.
This group is guided by staff members Mrs Melissa Smith and Mrs Jennifer Rowston.
