 Prep Operating Hours
The Prep day is the equivalent of a full school day. The starting time is 9.00 am, with the doors open from 8.45 am.  You are welcome to come into the Prep classroom at 8.55 am to spend time sharing an activity with your child for the first four weeks.  After this time, students should be dropped off at their classroom from 8.45 am.

When Prep children come into the classroom, they are expected to be responsible for their personal belongings. Please encourage your child to follow the routine outlined by the teacher. This routine may include:
o   Putting their bag away (their bag needs to be big enough to fit everything they need in it).
o   Placing their water bottle into the appropriate storage container.
o   Going to the toilet before the start of school.
o   Placing their lunch box in the fridge or other designated area.

We will finish at 3.00 pm in line with the rest of the school. Initially, children are expected to be brought and collected from the Prep classroom by a responsible adult. As teachers often have afternoon meetings, prompt collection by an adult, from the classroom is necessary. If you have an unexpected difficulty that causes you to be late, please contact the school office and notify them of your delay. Children will be supervised in the classroom or taken to the office in these situations.

Please notify us, personally or in writing, when anyone other than you will be collecting children from the school. This person should be listed as one of your emergency contacts on our school database. If a child needs to be collected during school hours, please attend the school office, sign your child out and we will send your child to the office. Children are expected to attend for five days per week.
