Our school operates as follows:
8:45am - First bell rings, get ready for class, go to class, put school bag away etc.
8.50am - Second bell rings - roll marking and morning learning session commences
11:15am - First Break (eating time)
11:30am - First Break (play time)
11.55am - End of play bell rings, students should move to the toilets, wash hands and get a drink before lining up in their respective areas ready to begin the middle learning session.
1:30 - Second Break (play time)
1.45pm - Second break (eating time). End of play bell rings, students should move to the toilets, wash hands and get a drink before lining up in their respective areas to begin eating (10 minutes eating time)
2.00pm - End of second break bell rings. Students put away their lunchboxes and belongings ready to begin the last learning session.
3:00 - End of school bell rings, students collect all of their belongings and exit the school.
Students should not arrive at school before 8:00am as there is no supervision provided before this time. If students arrive before 8:00am they must report to the large covered area. Students that arrive regularly before 8.00am should be booked into Outside School Hours Care.
Supervision is available in the school hall from 8:00am and then at 8:30am, daily notices are provided to students before their classroom teacher escorts students to the classroom where students should put their bags away and move into the classroom to begin preparing for their day.
The class roll is marked daily by the classroom teacher, between 8.50am and 9.00am. Students arriving after 8.50am should report to the school office to obtain a late slip to give to their teacher on arrival at their classroom, due to the possibility of the roll being already marked.
