Our school focuses on key areas including continued improvement in literacy and numeracy outcomes, implementation of the National Curriculum, reinvigorating inquiry learning in science, enhancing the school ICT program and continuing the recognised excellent practices which support students and contributes to the positive school culture. There is a keen focus on differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students as individuals throughout all classes of the school.
Our school’s explicit improvement agenda as a Literacy and Numeracy National Partnership School is supported by a literacy/numeracy coach and a team of highly capable staff. Information and communication technologies are integral to class programs with all classrooms having internet connectivity, EduTouch interactive panels, class laptops for our senior students and class iPads for our junior students.
The school is highly regarded for its participation and numerous successes in a range of academic and extra-curricular activities - Maths, English and Science competitions, choir and concert band performances, and successes in sport. The school hall serves the school’s development of the Arts while the library (resource centre) supports learning across all areas of the curriculum.
